‘Valencia CF visits your school’ kicks off a new season in Torrent
The Club will visit twelve schools with special attention to the centres affected by the flash floods
Making dreams come true
"For me, winning a trophy with Valencia CF is a dream. Now we have the chance to make it come true -in our Centenary year. This squad deserve it because of what we've overcome over the course of the season. We have a lot of confidence in being able to do it."
The keys
"We have to work well defensively, just like we have been doing. We have a good counterattack that has gone well for us when we've been effective. Using this as a base, we are going to have a good game."
The 2008 final
"I watched it in my hometown. All of my friends are Valencia CF fans and it was very exciting. It wasn't a great season and winning the cup was very nice. At that time me playing in a Copa del Rey final for Valencia CF was a very distant dream."
The fans
"Our fans should be highlighted and thanked. I would tell them that the team and the coaching staff have the same excitement that they do. We are going to give our all to take the cup back to Valencia and celebrate it together. I want to thank them on behalf of everyone, because we are very proud of them."
Messi
"The most important thing is to see the best Valencia CF side possible. Messi is a game changing player, but we've faced them on other occasions and -if the team play well- we can stop whoever is in front of us."
Late season LaLiga appearances
"I hadn't played in the league since the game against Getafe, as well as having some health problems that impeded me from being with the team for a couple of weeks. It was good for me to see that I was in perfect shape and get a good feeling."
